STEPHENSON STREET
We undertook this project on behalf of our client, First Choice Homes, with the continued support of Oldham MBC Planning Department in respect of the vision for the Borough.
We obtained planning and building regulation approvals for an affordable home scheme to provide a safe and homely environment for vulnerable adults.
Fundamentally the scheme was been developed on the general footprint of existing premises, with a private enclosed garden to the west of the site. We carried out the demolition of the existing industrial buidlings and remediation of the site, as well as undertaking the design and construction of foundations, drainage and incoming services. At this time the fabrication of the whole building was taking place in our off site factory, and we delivered a finished scheme as programmed and within budget.
The overall design, both layout and integrated landscaping enables residents and visitors alike to enjoy the comfortable,clean and vibrant environment, where all age groups can live in the manner they wish.
A contemporary development within a vernacular envelope.
